Vendakka Avial-Ladies Finger in Grated Coconut Masala

Ingredients:
Bhendi, chopped - 250 grams
Onion, chopped -1
Green chillies, slit- 2-3
Coconut, grated- 1 cup
Turmeric- ¼ teaspoon
Chilli powder- ½ teaspoon
Coriander powder- ¼ teaspoon
Salt- to taste oil- 5 teaspoon
Curry leaves- 1 sprig
Method: Grind coconut, turmeric, chilli powder and coriander powder as a coarse paste. In a pan add 3 teaspoons of oil, and when the oil is hot add bhendi, onion, green chillies, salt and sauté in high flame till cooked well. Add the ground paste with bhendi . Sprinkle some water and allow to cook for 2 minute by constant stirring. When the added water fully evaporates add a teaspoon of oil (optional) and curry leaves.
