5-6 pieces basa fillets

2 tablespoons coriander leaves paste

2 tablespoons mint/pudina paste

2 tablespoons spinach paste

1 tablespoon cumin seeds & green chilli paste

1 teaspoon garlic paste

1 teaspoon turmeric powder

1/2 cup of tamarind pulp

1/2 cup of oil

1 cup of water

2 tablespoon coriander leaves (chopped)

Salt to taste

Method: Take coriander, spinach, & pudina paste, cumin-green chilli- garlic paste, turmeric powder, coriander powder, & salt in a big bowl and mix the spices properly. Marinate the fish pieces with the spices up to 1 hour. Take a tight lidded pot, grease the base and sides with oil. Place the fish pieces, add tamarind pulp, water, & sprinkle the oil and cover it tightly. Allow it to cook for some time. After around 20-25 minutes, take it from the stove. Place the preparation in a plate & sprinkle the coriander leaves. Serve Fish Hariyali with Jeera Rice or Plain rice.
