Ingredients:
Butterfish/Moonfish- 2 no:s
Chili powder 1 tablespoon
Coriander powder ¼ tablespoon
Turmeric powder table spoon ¼
Garlic paste table spoon ¾
Ginger paste table spoon ¾
Crushed shallot 3/4 tablespoon
Lemon juice 2 tablespoons
Salt& Oil
Steps: Clean and wash fishes. Drain water and marinate the fishes with salt and lemon juice. Keep aside for 10 minutes. In a bowl, add chili powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder, ginger and garlic paste, crushed shallot, and salt. Mix well and make a smooth paste adding water if required. Marinate the fishes with the paste and set aside for one hour. Heat oil in a pan or tawa and shallow fry the fishes, turning over to cook both sides. Serve hot with rice.
