Long Beans Thoran

Ingredients:
Long beans, chopped - 300 grams
Salt-to taste
Turmeric powder- ¼ teaspoon
Oil- 2 teaspoons
Curry leaves- 1 sprig
To grind:
Coconut- ¼ cup
Green chillies, chopped-2-3
Garlic-1 clove
Jeera- ¼ teaspoon
Method: In a blender pulse coconut, green chillies, garlic and jeera. Do not grind as a fine paste. In a pan add oil; Add the chopped flat beans and saute for a minute on medium flame. Sprinkle little salt and water, cover the pan and allow to cook for two to three minutes till the beans are almost cooked. Now open the lid and add turmeric, coconut mixture and curry leaves. Mix well and cook till the turmeric and garlic smell leaves from the masala. Add extra curry leaves if you wish.
