Green chillies-3

Shallots – 3-4

Ginger garlic paste- 1 tbsp

Red chilli powder – 2 tbsp

Preheat the oven to 300 degrees and grill the fish for 20-25 mins. You can also shallow fry the marinated fish if you like. Heat oil in a pan/meen chatti (Kerala fish claypot) and add slit green chillies and sliced onions. Sauté it for 5 mins. Add ginger garlic paste and cook for another 5 mins. Add 1 tbsp tandoori masala, red chilli powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder and sauté for another 2 mins. Now add the grilled/fried fish pieces into the mixture along with some hot water. Let it cook for 10-15 mins. Garnish with curry leaves and serve with rice or chapatti!

Happy Cooking!
