Toddy (Palm Wine) Chicken Curry-Kerala Style

Ingredients Toddy-1 L

Chicken-1/2 kg

Chopped Garlic-1 tsp

Chopped onion-1 cup

Garam Masala-1 tsb

Perumjeerakam/cumin powder-1 tsp

Chicken Masala-1 tsp

Chilly powder-1 tsp

Turmeric powder-1 tsp

Salt-To taste

Method: Clean chicken cut into small size pieces. In hot pan pour some oil, add finely chopped onions, garlic, green chilies, turmeric, salt, and curry leaves, cook it for some time. Add coriander powder, cumin powder, red chilly powder, chicken masala, and garam masala powders and sauté well until the raw smell is gone. Add chicken pieces and cook for 5-6 mins. Add the toddy and let it cook for some time stirring occasionally till the chicken pieces are cooked. Garnish with finely chopped coriander.
