Potato Peas Croquette

Ingredients

  • Potatoes - 1 cup ( Boiled till soft )

  • Peas - ½ cup ( Boiled till soft )

  • Bread crumbs - ¼ cup

  • Salt to taste

  • Black pepper powder - ½ tsp

  • Onion powder - 2 tbsp

  • Garlic powder - 1 tsp

  • Dried basil - ½ tsp

  • Chili flakes - 1 tsp

  • Cornflour - ¼ cup

  • All purpose flour - ½ cup

  • Oil for frying

Method: Mash the potatoes and pea in a bowl. Add bread crumbs, salt, black pepper powder, onion powder, garlic powder, dried basil, chili flakes and cornflour in the potato mixture and mix well. Divide the mixture into 12-15 equal portions and shape to make croquettes. Take all purpose flour in a bowl and coat the croquettes from all the sides with the flour. Freeze the prepared croquettes for 20 minutes. Deep fry in medium hot oil till golden brown from all the sides. Serve hot with coriander chutney and ketchup.
