Pazham Vada/Banana Fritters

Ingredients

½ cup rice flour

¾ cup maida/all purpose flour

½ cup grated coconut

2 jaggery blocks melted

3-4 palayam kodan pazham

2 pinches cumin powder

2 pinces cardamom powder

2 pinches baking powder

1 pinch salt

Method: Mash the bananas completely. Add rice flour, maida, grated coconut, cumin powder, & cardamom powder and mix well. Add melted jaggery and mix well. The batter should be thicker than dosa batter. Add water if needed. Keep aside for 1-2 hours. Heat oil in a pan. Take little batter using a tablespoon and drop it into the oil. You could also shape it into small balls with your hands and fry them in oil. When it becomes golden brown, remove from oil. Serve with tea.
