Instant Almond Dessert

Ingredients

100 grams Almonds, powdered

2 tablespoons semolina/rava/sooji

5 tablespoons clarified butter (ghee)

½ teacup sugar

½ teacup whole milk

½ teacup water

½ teaspoon cardamom powder

1 pinch saffron

Method: Grind the dry almonds in a mixer to make a smooth powder. Heat ghee in a heavy bottom pan. Add semolina and fry till it becomes pink in color. Add almond powder and stir on low heat till it starts giving a nice aroma. Add milk and water, and cook, keep stirring to avoid lumps. When the water starts boiling, add sugar and saffron. Cook it until it starts to thicken and water almost dries up. Add cardamom powder and mix well. Serve hot.
